My Story

Erik is a Belgium-based project and change management specialist and business consultant with over 17 years of experience. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional SCRUM Master I (PSM I), not to mention the proud owner of 95kg of project and change management books.
While Erik initially graduated with an MSc in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven, he couldn’t help but feel drawn to delivering real value through a human-centred approach. He shifted his focus away from engineering and towards project and change management, building a rap sheet of 10+ clients companies across 9 industries (and counting).
Erik is unique in his ability to leverage his knowledge and skills in any environment, from overseeing a portfolio of 60+ digital transformation projects as Portfolio Manager for Brussels Airport Company to delivering interactive workshops through his own change management company, Eagle Owling.
While an introvert at heart, you can always rely on Erik to fill the room with energy and plenty of flipchart drawings. He combines his industry knowledge and approachable demeanour to create a lasting impact – on time, within budget, and of guaranteed quality.
Erik’s zest for project management has reached almost every corner of the world. He has worked in Europe, South America, North Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia, alongside volunteering as the Vice-President for the Project Management Institute back home in Belgium in 2020.
When Erik isn’t busy project managing, you can find him planning his next Eagle Owling change management workshop, matching scale-ups to investors through another one of his more recent ventures, ScalEUup, or spending quality time with his wife and kids.
